While I will/can not grow a mustache, here’s some inspiration for facial hair… Once again I stand by the axiom that when it comes to facial hair you either have it or you don’t and let me be clear, there is no such thing as a “sexy goatee”. Goatees make you look like a goat. I repeat, goatees make you look like a goat! Shave your chin or grow a beard!

Speaking of the mustache, this post would just not be complete without my friend, Po Tex Slim’s collection of mugshots from the 70′s that he grifted from a Santa Cruz prison.

here he is looking a little bit more like a Po Tex SlimE, but still, you have to admit he’s living the dream.

BTW, I do not recommend polo’s for anyone other than 70′s drug dealers and Po Tex himself… and even in that case, step up the fash-ion Po!
Fascinating. I like the way ‘The Chap’ magazine cover mustaches:

I wear my beardage in the nu-Amish style – without a mustache, so feel quite left out!!!

I’m feeling you with not having the ability / the balls to have mustache. But those pics of friend of yours are wicked!
I didn’t think I had the balls to grow a beard! I agree that the lip weasels’ in The Chap magazine are a delight to behold! ;o)]
re: cloth flowers
Just check out who wore what to the Golden Globes this year and you’ll see the horrible lengths to which cloth flowers can descend. Not a complete discouragement, merely as a cautionary tale.
and another thing: please tell us how you feel about neck beards. yuzo rocks/doesn’t rock one…what do you think?
never say the words ‘neck beard’ to me again or I might ban you from posting! yuzo doesn’t have a neck beard, he’s just scruffy, there’s a difference, and actually I think yuzo would look mahvelous in a strait up
adult. contemporary. mustache.
